The Architecture Et cetera Lab supports and invites Research by Practice applicants within the lab's areas of interest and expertise.

Key themes include:   

City making + Social capital theme is interested in the impact that natural disasters and social stressors have on communities and how architecture and related disciplines can support the enhancement of resilience in order to question and transform the current practice of city-making. 

Processes + Material bodies theme is interested in processual frameworks and practices across architecture and related disciplines in order to question and transform the understanding of physical conditions and interaction between objects. 

Criticality + Spatial practices theme is interested in the discursive potential of the relationship between architecture and related disciplines to question and transform the social conditions of the site into which they intervene as well as the boundaries and procedures of the architecture discipline.
